Tanks-A-Lot Dive Charters has been in the scuba diving business for over 15 years at the same location. Our Captains have extensive boating experience in the Tampa Bay and Clearwater area. They have been running boats for most of their lives. They are also scuba diving instructors for various agencies. More importantly, they enjoy running boats and love being out on the Gulf of Mexico water.
Our Dive Masters also represent various agencies and many of them are also certified scuba dive instructors. They are also very familiar with the gulf waters and our various dive sites. They will do their very best to ensure that you have a safe and memorable scuba diving trip.
We specialize in sightseeing and photography trips to our beautiful artificial reefs, natural ledges and wrecks. In order to help preserve our delicate environment, spearfishing or the collection of living creatures is not permitted aboard the Tanks-A-Lot Dive Charter Boat.
Boat Location
We are located next to the Seminole public boat ramp, behind the Bait Shop. The closest intersection is Seminole Street and N. Ft Harrison. For more information, go to directions.
Pricing
Our scuba dive charter prices are commensurate with the distance traveled to the dive sites. The typical 2 tank trip costs $80. Special trips can be arranged. Certified Divers can reserve spots over the phone (48 hour cancellation/no show policy applies). Transportation fees are due and payable when service is rendered.
Services
Our crew has been scuba diving and driving boats for more years than we care to admit. We enjoy being in and around the water. So any excuse to get in and on the water is a good thing for us.
In addition to our scuba diving charters into the Gulf of Mexico, we offer various other services. This includes: dignified scattering of cremated remains (either human or pet), captain for hire for private beach excursions or cruising the Intracoastal waterway to local restaurants, underwater still or video photography, scuba instruction, dive excursions to other locations within the state, the US or international, scuba skills workshops, and probably some services we have not thought of yet.
